About
The "Mirackle" project began in October 2009, when I started sending a newsletter by mobile phone to the contacts in my address book.
On October 21, I decided to launch the blog https://avivanews.blogspot.com (which is still online, but no longer updated) to post the verses I read and sent by mobile phone on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., giving rise to #quarta7. At the time, I called it AvivaNewsLetter Cel.
On the 22nd, I also added "#quinta7" for the verses read and sent on that day. Although it was never the main focus, I spent a few months sending verses on both days before focusing only on Wednesdays.
On Saturday the 24th, the idea of posting reflections emerged, creating the "Reflection" section. At the time, it consisted simply of quotations from other texts, reproduced on a variety of topics, not necessarily "religion".
In May 2010, six months after it began, the blog went on a hiatus that lasted until November of the same year. However, the "AvivaNewsLetter Cel" continued to be sent until September.
Another long pause followed, lasting almost a year, when the migration from Blogger to WordPress began, using the address https://avivanews.wordpress.com (deactivated). Testing of the current version began around the same time as the first WordPress site, already using https://avivanews.org.
Between these pauses, new topics appeared, such as films, books and music, and "Reflection" took on a new form, with texts I wrote myself. In 2012, a spin-off also emerged: the prayer project PUSH Brasil, #OreAtéAlgoAcontecer, which focuses on monthly prayer themes and is based entirely on Facebook.
In 2014, the mobile newsletter returned with a new look, now through WhatsApp and with the slogan Aviva News Returns, gradually becoming simply Aviva News.
I am currently restructuring the blog to bring back the posts that used to be published in Spanish and English (verses only). With the help of some friends and fellow Christians, from 2015 we will once again have a multilingual version of the site, starting with English, followed by Spanish in a second stage, and eventually German (!).
Take a look:
- Aviva News in English - also called "CKL in English"
- PUSH Brasil - #OreAtéAlgoAcontecer
